Module 1: Agripreneurship

This four-hour training is designed for aspiring and current farmers, agricultural graduates, and other groups like youth and women’s associations, as well as extension officers. The goal is to help them shift from a traditional, production-focused view of agriculture to a more innovative, market-driven approach. It is not just about learning a new concept, but about personal transformation empowering participants to see themselves as innovators and problem-solvers in the agricultural value chain. The core focus of the training is to integrate entrepreneurial principles with the realities of farming in Africa. Instead of just focusing on business plans and market analysis, the module prioritizes the development of crucial personal assets. These include cultivating the right mindset, enhancing self-awareness, and establishing a clear sense of purpose.

Through hands-on, reflective activities, participants will apply these concepts to their own lives and potential ventures. This practical approach will help them evaluate opportunities more effectively and build the resilience needed to overcome common startup challenges.
